In 2013 VanderHart began writing concert reviews of opera, concert and recitals for the London-based online publication, Bachtrack. To date, Bachtrack has published over 160 of her reviews. She has written public interest pieces on classical music for broad audiences also for the Metropolitan Opera on Demand, Opernring 2 – der Magazin der Wiener Staatsoper, and Musicology Now.
